After his retirement from Professional Skateboarding & Getting Snatch circuit, Patrick returned to his home in Saint Augustine, FL, to attempt to catch up on all the movies he'd never watched. But the task proved too daunting, so he decided instead to spend his golden years building cool stuff and annoying Riley with his lack of film knowledge.
Entered the University of Missouri as a freshman in the year 1910, at the age of nineteen. Eight years later, during the time of the First World War, he received his Doctor of Philosophy degree from the same university and accepted an appointment as instructor in the department of English, at which he remained until his death in 1956. He did not rise above the rank of assistant professor, and few students remembered him with any sharpness after they had left his classroom.
